The Sabres have signed Mittelstadt, the eighth overall pick of the 2017 NHL Draft, to a three-year entry-level contract. |
The 19-year-old Mittelstadt, the MVP of the 2018 World Junior championships, is considered NHL-ready and stands a good chance of immediately slotting into the Sabres' lineup. The American forward spent the winter playing his freshman season at the University of Minnesota. |
